Welcome to the Swiss Cottage Teaching School Alliance

The centre is the outward facing hub of the Swiss Cottage School’s remit as a Teaching School to support pupil achievement for children in Camden, London and beyond.

The Development and Research Centre at Swiss Cottage School hosts a range of national and international conferences, courses and workshops on topics such as neuroscience, mental health, special educational needs and pedagogue together with evidence of outstanding practice.

Our vision is to create a world class environment for:

  • professional learning opportunities for both our own staff and external colleagues;
  • leadership in research based learning, in partnership with Higher Education Institution; and
  • developing and managing the growing number of significant partnerships across schools in London and beyond.

Through the power of positive partnership we are helping to improve the quality of teaching and learning for children with special needs across the country.
